He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Swinney, and Mason Swinney, Sr.; his brother William "Bill" Swinney; and his nephew Shaun Swinney. He is survived by: his sons, Cory Swinney (Megan) of Germantown, Kyle Swinney of Brentwood, TN and Tommy Swinney of Freeburg; his grandchildren, Waylon, Tucker and Jules Swinney; his siblings, Lola DeGroff (Jim) of Troy and Mason Swinney (Roberta) of Louisville, KY; and his close friend Karen Kues of Bartelso.
