With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia J. Hyde of Trenton, Illinois, born in Damiansville, Illinois, who passed away on July 18, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Ben; her husband Harold Wayne Hyde; her sisters, Rita Taylor (Pete) and Viola Hemker (Virgil); her father-in-law Jim; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Hyde (Deanie), John Hyde (Laverne), Judy Weaver, Doyle Taylor and Donna Hyde.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Hyde, Patrick Hyde (Arlene), Christopher Hyde (Stefanie), Lori Walker (Tim), Brian Hyde, Amy Turnbull (Keith) and Jonathan Hyde (Kaori); her grandchildren, Sara Elfrink (Phil), Michael Hyde (Caiyan Jiang), Jessica Welsch (Ken), Paul Hyde, Deanna Hyde, Ryan Hyde (Amanda), John Hyde, Christina Turnbull (Aidan Johnson), Jared Hyde, Lili Hyde and Ellie Hyde; her great grandchildren, Blake, Logan Welsch, Sylvia, Rosalia Elfrink and Shandon Chen; her sisters, Rose Kuhl (Lavern) and Dorothy Bollmeier (Don); and her siblings-in-law, Betty Taylor, Carol Wright (Tom), Tom Hyde and John Weaver. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
