It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon Lynn Ponsler (Trenton, Illinois), born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on April 29, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Sewell and Elda Sewell (Crippen); her husband Clarence Richard Ponsler; and her siblings, Genevieve Mauser, Joetta Mitchell, Patsy Jean Poole, Doris Cebulske, Carol Herzig, Alice McDaniel, Joan RoseKrans, Linda Joergensen, Murray, Russell and Robert Sewell.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry King (Laura) and Christy Vogt (James); her grandchildren, Jerry King Jr. (Samantha), Lindsey Tierney (Matt), Benjamin King, Cody Zelisko (Mike), Clarence Vogt (Siara), Emma Vogt and Mia Vogt; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Chase, Corbin King, Jackson Maag, Caleb Tierney, Jimmy and Grace Zelisko; and her sister Joyce Kocot. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and sisters.
There will be no public service at this time due to the restrictions surrounding the current pandemic.
