She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Rakers and Bertha Rakers; her husband Robert "Bob" Gerstner; her son Terry Gerstner; her siblings, Bert Rakers (Sylvia), Jean Mueller (Don), Jerry Rakers (Dolly), Carl Rakers (Joanie), Maurice Rakers, Robert Rakers, Dennis Rakers and Marcellus Rakers; and her sister-in-law Bev Rakers (Gerstner).
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Harvey (Dan) of Trenton and Ron Gerstner (Sharon) of Trenton; her grandchildren, Lonny Harvey, Melissa Brenner (Jeff), Travis Gerstner (Stephanie), Trevor Gerstner (Kendyll), Erin Frieman (Coty) and Emily Gerstner (Jeff Rakers); her great grandchildren, Reagan Brenner, Jack, Dylan Gerstner, Haylee (Matthew Segner), Gage Gerstner, Aayden Gerstner, Kehnley Frieman, Raelyn and Brooks Rakers; her siblings, Betty Voss (Leonard) of Beaver Prairie, Virgil Rakers of Bowling Green, KY and Mary Howell (Larry) of Mt. Vernon; and her sisters-in-law, Susan Rakers and Jane Rakers. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home (105 S Main St, Trenton, IL 62293). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (325 S Jefferson St, Trenton, IL 62293).
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to Community Link or St. Mary Parish and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 105 S. Main St. Trenton, IL 62293, who is serving the family.
