Irene T. Schumacher Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene T. Schumacher (Trenton, Illinois), born in Albers, Illinois, who passed away on December 2, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Cyril; her son John "Ock" Schumacher; her brother David Huelsmann; her mothers-in-law, Joseph, Bernadine, Schrage, Vera, Stein and Voellinger-Schumacher; her brothers-in-law, Emma Huelsmann, Sylvester, Rose Schumacher, Dorothy and Eugene Horstmann; her nephews, Paul Horstmann and Don Schumacher; and her great-nephews, Allan Horstmann and Galen Huelsmann.
She is survived by: her parent Anna; her husband Pete Schumacher of Trenton; her children, Joe Schumacher (Pam) of Highland and Jan Puscian of St. Louis; her grandchildren, Garett Schumacher (Chelsea), Ryan Schumacher (Lacey Knodle) and Blake Schumacher; her siblings, James Huelsmann of Aviston, Herman Huelsmann (Mary) of Dubois and Lorraine Boeser (Don) of Aviston; and her sister-in-law Florence Huelsmann of Breese. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to Mater Dei Catholic High School, St. Mary Altar Sodality Quilting Ladies, School Sisters of Notre Dame (SSND) Pacific Province, Caritas Family Solution, Gateway Drug Treatment Center, or Cardinal Glennon Children's Foundation and will be received at the church or through Moss Funeral Home, 105 S. Main, Trenton, IL 62293 who is serving the Schumacher family.
