It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herman J. Haselhorst (Trenton, Illinois), who passed away on March 23, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Haselhorst (Lampe) and Bernard Haselhorst; his wife Ruth; and his siblings, Greg, Dick, Steve, Karl, Martin, Catherine, Marie, Gussie and Tillie.
He is survived by: his brother Monsignor Vincent Haselhorst; his sons, Jeff Haselhorst (Arleen) of Noblesville, IN and Mark Haselhorst (Melissa) of Gulf Breeze, FL; his grandchildren, Katie Kellermann, Chris Kellermann, Lindsay Fark (Jordan), Holly Sallee (Derek), Quinn Haselhorst (Rachel), Zachary Haselhorst (Carley), Austin Haselhorst (Anna) and Ansley Silva (Tony); and his great grandchildren, Elayna Jackson, Harper Jackson, Pacey Fark, Graham Haselhorst and Gage Haselhorst.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Trenton, IL, Mater Dei High School, Breese, IL or Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be received at the church or through Moss Funeral Home in Trenton who is serving the family.
