It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betsy Frances Elkins Wharton of Trenton, Illinois, who passed away on September 30, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister Virginia Starr; and her brother-in-law Lloyd Starr. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Mesplay (Mark) of Monticello, IL, David Wharton (Shaunery) of Columbia, MO and Marcy Buckles (Thomas) of Trenton, IL; and her grandchildren, Zachary, Madison, Kathryn Mesplay, Erin, Sarah Wharton, Evan, Colby Buckles and Taylor Somers.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation-Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing and Health Sciences Endowed Fund or the Kirby Hospital Auxiliary and will be received at the church or through Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th, Breese, IL 62230 who is serving the family.
