It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willard F. Mauerman of Tremont, Illinois, who passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Willard may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Mauerman and Faye Mauerman (Beames); and his sister Charlotte Knupp. He is survived by: his children, JoAnn Riley of Hesperia, CA, Theresa Shehorn (Stephen) of Indianapolis, IN, Earl R. Mauerman (Mary) of Morton, Juanita Honeycutt of Phoenix, AZ, Ron Mauerman (Patti) of Tremont and Robert Mauerman (Jamie) of Pekin. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home (2408 W Willow Knolls Dr, Peoria, IL 61614). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital.
