With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Smith (Tremont, Illinois), born in Frederick, Illinois, who passed away on May 8, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph T. Smith and Caroline Stevens Smith; his grandson Justin; and his sister Opal Brown. He is survived by: his former wife Martha LaVerne Marshall; his wife Linda Wiegand; his sons, Robert M. Smith of Tremont and Bradley Smith (Cathy) of Delavan; his grandchildren, Maegan Petersen, Ketra Stocks and Danisha Gresham; and his siblings, Gerald Smith (Charolette) of Eureka, Rowena Brooks of Mesa, AZ and Linda Greeson of Indianapolis, IN.. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Tremont Baptist Church or Shriners Hospital for Children.
