She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Getz and Louise Perdelwitz Getz; and her sisters, Edith Pflederer, Norma Roberts and Velma Wessels.
She is survived by: her former husband Jack D. Burns; her children, Steven Burns of Tremont and Connie Boyle (Jim) of Tremont; her grandsons, Chad Loughrey (Julie) of Edwardsville, Jack Loughrey (Courtney) of Edwards, Daniel Loughrey of Dunlap and John Boyle of Tremont; her great grandchildren, Gavin Schroeder, Jack and Lucy Loughrey; and her husband Grand Marshals.
Memorials may be made to the Tremont United Methodist Church or TAPS.
