With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathy Meier of Tremont, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on July 12, 2020 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Strassburger and Clara Strassburger (Franzgrote); her husband Lawrence H. "Larry" Meier; her daughters, Elizabeth "Liz" "Lisa" Meier of Morton and Kristin Harrington (Daniel) of Seattle, Wash.; her grandmother Julia Katherine Harrington of Seattle, Wash.; and her siblings, Christopher Strassburger (Marianne) of Highlands Ranch, Colo, Frederick Strassburger of Sheboygan, Wisc, Julie Peterburs (Joe) of South Elgin and Marianne Lasser (David) of Bloomington, Ill.. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Tazewell County 4-H or the charity of the donor's choice.
