Daniel Koch Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Koch of Tremont, Illinois, who passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Daniel Koch to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel R. Koch and Mary Bauer Koch; his wife Carol Sauder; and his siblings, Ralph, David, Cleo, Eugene, Jesse, Vernon, Gerald, Elmon, Jim, Vi Koch, Carolyn Bolliger and Miriam Frank.

He is survived by: his children, Christy Musselman (Nelson) of Tremont, Faye Schnedler (Bill) of Brooksville, FL, Jane Farley (Dan) of Falls City, NE, Daniel Koch (Julie) of Tremont and Philip Koch (Diane) of Tremont; his grandchildren, Lisa Haas (Tom), Jon Koch, Jason Koch (Anita), Michael Koch (Holly), Rebecca Slagel (Matt), Katie Lopez (Santos), Patrick O'Conner (Joy), Kathy Wagenbach (Gary), Brad Koch (Lori), Brett Koch (Ashley) and Rachel Leman (Tracy); and his stepgranddaughters, Michelle Pyland and Danielle Jones. He is also survived by 27 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Tremont Apostolic Christian Church (601 S Chestnut St, Tremont, IL 61568).
