She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Jay and Fern Elizabeth Williams Dutcher; her husband James Thomas Bernier; her son Charles; and her sister Nancy Dutcher Elliott.

She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Miller (Duane), David Bernier (Patricia), Stephen Bernier (Barbara) and Julia Gordon (Glenn).

Memorials may be made to Tremont Baptist Church, Compassus Hospice 2000 W Pioneer Parkway Suite 24 Peoria, IL 61615 or Rescue 702 in Tremont.
