In loving memory of William Chesterman of Tower Hill, Illinois, who departed this world on February 24, 2025 at the age of 84. William leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Parmenio Lloyd "P. L." and Ruth Ravenia Chesterman (Closser); his son William Leroy Chesterman, Jr.; and his siblings, Mary Emma Nolan and Paul Edward Chesterman.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Lines; his children, Cindy Jones (Rick) of Beecher City, IL, Debby Jordan (Ed) of Tower Hill, IL and Chuck Chesterman (Patsy) of Tower Hill, IL; his grandchildren, Christopher Kucinski (Marissa), Derrick Jones (Kristi), Nathan Jones (Ashley), Rachel Watson (Steve), Sean Jordan (Cierra) and Benjamin Chesterman; and his siblings, Helen Fern Tipsword (Shirley) of Apache Junction, AZ and Lloyd John Chesterman (Lucille) of Assumption, IL.. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the McCracken-Dean Funeral Home (308 E 2nd St, Pana, IL 62557). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials in Bill's honor may be made to the Tower Hill First Responders and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
