He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Yates and Theodocia Yates (Standafer); and his brothers, Jim Yates of Spokane, WA and Bob (Lauranell) of Spokane, WA. He is survived by: his wife Sandra of Tower Hill; and his children, Dennis Yates of Tower Hill, Stephen Yates of Pana and Florence Hubrich of Decatur. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
