She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Tipsword and Cozetta M. Tipsword (Hanson); her husband James D. Shaff; her sons, James Shaff and Jerry Shaff; her grandsons, Jason Mayhood and Ethan Shaff; her great grandchild Brett Mayhood; and her sisters, Sally Jane Tipsword and Pat Herron.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Mayhood (Steve) of Bradley, IL, Judy Dorrier (Keith) of Pana, IL and Danny Shaff of Melbourne, FL; her grandchildren, Jessica, Christopher, Beth, Scott, Jennifer, Britany and Logan; and her brothers, Ronald Tipsword of Pana, IL and Dennis Tipsword of Pana, IL. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Memorials in Joyce's honor may be made to the American Heart Association and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
