Doris Hinton Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2024, at the age of 86, Doris Hinton of Tower Hill, Illinois, born in Oconee, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cletus Loren and Vera Dean Manuel (Nowlin); her husband Floyd B. Hinton; her son Kenny Hinton; her son-in-law Kevin Kuhn; her grandchildren, Stephanie Evans, Brandon Hinton and Bronson Hinton; her siblings, Donnabelle Oldham, Lorna Manuel and Howard Manuel; and her brothers-in-law, Clarence Smith and Tom Oldham.

She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Evans (Charlie) of Cowden, IL, Keith Hinton of Pana, IL, Kellie Kuhn of Oconee, IL, Amy Coultas (David) of Tower Hill, IL and Patsy Chesterman (Chuck) of Tower Hill, IL; her grandchildren, Josh Evans, Chris Evans, Joya Evans, Zack Hinton, Shona Hinton, Otis Hinton, Casey Jones, Jackie Thompson, Julie Letzkus, Joanna Holthaus, Abby Kuhn, Kyle Kuhn, Branden Coultas, Blake Coultas and Ben Chesterman; and her sister-in-law Lois Smith. She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren.

Memorials in Doris' honor may be made to Tower Hill Christian Church, Carnegie-Schuyler Library or Pana Community Hospital Foundation for Quad County Hospice and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
