It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Lee Redding of Towanda, Illinois, born in McLouth, Kansas, who passed away on August 6, 2024, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chancey Francis and Quintilla Gillihan Redding; his sister Betty Lou (McVay); his wife Margie Jean Allen; his brother Babe; his son Kent; his grandson Aaron; and his nephews, Dennis McVay, Douglas Redding and Kenneth Redding.

He is survived by: his sons, Dr. Sam Redding (Jane) of Towanda, IL and Col. Rodney Redding; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Domkuski (Doug) of Towanda, IL, John Redding (Tammie) of Phoenix, AZ, Tom Redding (Brittany) of Bulverde, TX, Cari Rohlfs (Nathan) of Emden, IL, Jordan Redding (Meagan) of Corinth, TX, Robyn Marr (D. J.) of Conroe, TX, Ryan Lowery (Olga) of Magnolia, TX, Kristin Redding of Tomball, TX, Briana Blake of Arlington, TX, Emily Redding (Jacob Morton) of Cordova, TN, MacKenzie Redding (Courtney) and Bamberg.
