He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Carmody and Alice Grimes Carmody. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Ann Seright; and his children, Cathy Graham, Lucy Simkins (Joe) of Novi, MI, Julie Weber (John), Edward Carmody and Alice Schilkoski. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
