He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Schlappi and Louise Sanders Schlappi; his wife Debbie Dixon; his children, Michelle Kearfott (Ryan) of Warrensburg, MO and Daniel Schlappi (Caitlin) of Normal; his grandsons, Reid, Dylan and Clint Kearfott; and his siblings, Mark Schlappi (Sandy) of Chenoa, Scott Schlappi of Peoria, Sally Hackney (Jim) of Deer Creek, Carla McDonald (Ed) of Deer Creek and Jackie Morales (Robert) of Dallas, TX. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First United Methodist Church of Lexington.
