We are sad to announce that on June 23, 2024, at the age of 92, Phyllis Bouvet of Tovey, Illinois, born in Illiopolis, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Phyllis departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Phyllis may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Phyllis leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer O. Ray and Frieda B. Ray (Stanton); her spouse Gene Elliot Bouvet; and her granddaughter Stacey Groves. She is survived by: her pet Buddy; and her children, Christina Pezze (Tony) of Kincaid, Phyllis Harter (David) of Tovey, Joyce Baird of Centralia, Missouri, Gene Bouvet (Karen) of Jacksonville and Don Bouvet (Kathy) of Stonington. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
