Mary E. Rhoades Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary E. Rhoades of Toulon, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on December 13, 2023 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvyn Helferich and Mildred Helferich (Harris); her husband Donald L. Rhoades; her daughter Dana Marie; her siblings, Julie Branch (Ray), Judy Cornelison, Larry Helferich and Monte Helferich; and her brother-in-law Larry Burkhalter.

She is survived by: her granddaughters, Katherine Rhoades (Ryan Hauer), Sarah Rhoades and Lilah Rhoades; her great grandchildren, Bo Dean, Arabella Kay and Hallie Jo; her siblings, Gary Helferich (Mary), Bill Helferich (Char), Lynda Burkhalter, Gayle Finan (Kyle), Brenda Potter, Kathy Jones (Bill) and Bettie Davis; and her close friends, Karin Orwig (Joe) and Gregg Moutoux. She is also survived by 50 nieces and nephews.
