He is survived by: his wife Marlene Jenkins; his children, Jeff Nelson (Vicki Nowlan) of Toulon, LeeAnn Hufnagel (Kent Smith) of Toulon, Jennifer Eberle (Scott) of Edelstein and Zack Nelson (Carly) of LaFayette; his grandchildren, Tucker, Ashley, Josie, Payton, Chase, Macy, Noah and Kohen; his great grandchildren, Bryant, Iva, Donald Louis IV (Blue), Nickolaus and Carter; and his siblings, Rosanne Mohr of Davenport, Brad Nelson (Pat) of LaFayette, Tom Nelson (Renee Johnson) of Toulon and Pat Winkler (Tom) of Washington.
Per Ivan's wishes memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
