He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Montgomery and Lois Montgomery (McGinnes); and his brothers, Dale and John Montgomery. He is survived by: his wife Diana Smith of Topeka; his stepchildren, Crystal Simpson (Parker) of Peoria, Rachel Lawson of Green Valley and Ronald Simpson, Jr. (Chantal) of Canton; and his siblings, Richard Montgomery of Missouri and Janet Monroe of South Pekin. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
