He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Tibbs and Jeanette Tibbs (Hill); and his brothers-in-law, George Witherbee and James Schaffer. He is survived by: his wife Linda Stauthammer; his children, Jodie (Bjorn Lindgren) of Saint Anne and Brian Tibbs (Erika) of Washington; his grandchildren, Anders Lindgren (Katie), Emilie Lindgren, Britta Lindgren and Avery Tibbs; and his siblings, William Tibbs (Debra), Randy Tibbs (Kari), Sheila Schaffer and Mary Jo Witherbee.
