It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane O. Himmel of Topeka, Illinois, who passed away on November 24, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Duane O. Himmel to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Himmel and Louise Himmel (Jurgens); and his wife Wanda Danner. He is survived by: his nephew Scott Budke (Sheryl) of Chatam; his niece Katie Vasvil (Peter) of Waukesha, Wisconsin; his stepdaughter Karen Danner of Rushville, Illinois; his stepgrandson Keith DeMoss of Rushville, Illinois; and his siblings, Marilyn Budke of Havana and Nelson Himmel of Wisconsin. He is also survived by two great-nephews; one great niece.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Mason County Pork Producers.
