He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles R. Barker and Geraldine Longworth Barker; his stepdaughter Wendy Maslana (Ken) of Topeka; and his stepgranddaughters, Samantha, Courtney and Mackenzie of Topeka.

Memorials may be given to the American Legion Post in Manito.
