He was predeceased by: his father Jim McCleary; and his brothers, Gary and Timothy McCleary. He is survived by: his mother June McCleary (Hudson) of Ottawa; his wife Tammy Uebinger of Tonica; his children, Alec McCleary of Ottawa and Kelly Rightsell (Jesse) of Terre Haute, IN; his parents-in-law, Fred and Madonna Uebinger of Louisville, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Tonya Zuber (Scott) of Ingraham, Tim Uebinger (Christine) of West Liberty, IL and Tiffany Kuenstler (Kyle) of Noble, IL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a Celebration of Life visitation and funeral mass will be in Holy Family Catholic Church in Oglesby at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
