He is survived by: his wife Ruth Petersen of Toluca; his son Larry Allen Petersen (Vicki) of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Brooke Petersen (Vighnesh Iyler) of Chicago and Tyler Petersen of Urbana; his brother Jim Petersen (Sharon) of Hennepin; his stepdaughters, Julie Stubbs (Doug) of Toluca and Mary Beth (Dennis); his grandchildren, Dalzell and Stephen Baldoni of Chillicothe; his stepgrandchildren, Marissa Stubbs of Washburn, Connor Baldoni of Chillicothe, Logan Shertz of Lacon and Amelia Baldoni of Hannah City; his great grandchild Brycen Cusac; and also Ayr Haven Dairy Farm. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
