He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gaydos and Rosalie Rizzo Gaydos; and his brother Larry Gaydos. He is survived by: his spouse Gaile A. Lechner; his sons, Rodger Burns Jr. (Brandi) of Wenona, John L. Gaydos of North Carolina, Jim Gaydos of Washington State and Brad "Bruno" Burns (Lisa) of Toluca; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Kaiden, Kalla, Myah, Kace, Flin Burns, Stile, Isabele and Zach Gaydos.
