She was predeceased by: her parents, William T. Law and Rose M. Travis Law; her husband Robert Schmitt; her granddaughter Stefanie Carls; and her siblings, Virginia Perdew and John "Buzz" Law.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Carls (Dewain) of Minonk, Bill Schmitt of Peoria and Jim Schmitt of Minonk; her grandson Jonathon Carls (Keri) of Minonk; her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Hayden and Alyx; and her great great grandchild Owen Carls.
Memorials may be given to EP!C, 1913 Townline Rd, Peoria, IL 61615, to help children and adults with developmental disabilities.
