She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank Kresl and Lillie Kresl (Laffins); her husband James L. Gerjets; her daughter Lisa Jean Cook (David) of Wenona; and her grandchildren, Katelyn (Antoine Charlier), Kaleb and Kallen Cook.

Memorials may be directed to her church or the Eastern Marshall County Ambulance Service.
