She was predeceased by: her husband Richard L. Grove; her father Billy Edward Johnson; her brother Johnny Edward Johnson; and her nephew Tommy Smith. She is survived by: her mother Mary Jane Johnson (Kirk); her children, Richard L. Grove, III and Sarah Jane Grove (James); her granddaughter Addysin; her sister Judith Morgan (Daniel); her nephews, Jeremy Goings (Ann), Joshua Goings and Johnny Johnson; and her niece Amy Johnson Terrell.

Memorial donations in her name can be made to the Leukemia Foundation.
