He was predeceased by: his parents, Albin Roellig and Ida Kull Roellig; his wife Margaret Reifsteck (Karcher); and his brother Russell Roellig. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Karen Reifsteck (John Paul) and Charles Reifsteck (Lisa Courtney); his grandchildren, Alexander Paul (Sarah Wallace), Jhane Reifsteck (Felipe Contreras), Chelsea Paul (Nathan Bloom) and Elsa Reifsteck (Drew Nuding); his great grandchildren, Leonor Contreras, Clara Contreras, Sunnie Nuding and Daisie Nuding; his sister Alberta Newman (Jerry); and his sister-in-law Jo Ann Roellig.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Paul Lutheran Church (101 E Church St, Sadorus, IL 61872). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church or to the Champaign County Farm Bureau Foundation to support ag education in schools in Champaign County.
