The memory of Henry Huizenga of Tolono, Illinois, born in Munster, Indiana, who passed away on October 25, 2024 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Huizenga; his parents, Joe Huizenga and Coba Huizenga; and his grandson Ryder Huizenga. He is survived by: his sisters, Grace DeYoung Bergsma, Joyce Quigley and Johanna Tanis (Jerry); his children, Dawn Huizenga, Duane Huizenga (Kerry) and Mark Huizenga; and his grandchildren, John Flavin, Shannon Flavin, Marley Huizenga and Corina Huizenga.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home (3227 Ridge Rd, Lansing, IL 60438). The military honors was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Oak Ridge Cemetery (1881 Thornton Lansing Rd, Lansing, IL 60438).
