He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Rexroad and Marion Rexroad (Myser) of Tolono; his siblings, Sarah Hemmerich and Nick Rexroad; his son James Harrison Rexroad; and his granddaughters, Michelle Ackerman, Maggie Boles and Miriam Sawka.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Beckett; his children, Betty Jo Armstrong, Nikki Lynn Keller (Everette) and Jeremy Hugh Rexroad; and his brother Max Rexroad (Elaine). He is also survived by three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
