He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schweighart and Caroline Schweighart (Kleiss); his spouse Avie Taylor (Lois); his brothers, Harold and Pete Schweighart; and his son-in-law Steve Goss.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra, Sandy Goss Lucas and Linda Hughes; his sons-in-law, Dave Lucas and Sam Hughes; his grandchildren, Stephanie Pittman (Steve), Matthew Goss (Kali Jacobs), Natalie Heath (Justin) and Whitney Tulin; his great grandchildren, Tristan Heath, Samantha Heath, Abby Pittman, Zach Pittman, Macie Tulin, Mira, Avani, Nidhi Lucas, Ethan and Will Nakashima; and his siblings, Bruce Schweighart, Edith Reinhart, Pat Cahill and Carol Proudfit. He is also survived by sisters-in-law and many nephews and nieces.
Due to the current COVID situation and the quarantining of his immediate family, there will be a private mass at St. Matthews Catholic church and interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
