He is survived by: his father Robert Sponsel; his wife Elizabeth McNurlan; his sons, Lukas and Lance Sponsel; his mother Cathie Schaefer (Tracy) of Casey; his brother Chase Sponsel of Neoga; his grandmother Marie Sponsel of Greenup; and his nephew Dominic Sponsel of Neoga.
