He was predeceased by: his parents, Annette Galambach (Stanciewrcz) and John Gouwens; and his brother Robert Gouwens (Judy). He is survived by: his wife Marcia; his sons, Gregory (Dori) and Christopher Gouwens (Amber); his grandchildren, Logan, Rylee and Piper Gouwens; and his brother Karl Galambach (Jonanne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was dedicated to his family, friends and charity work, loved and admired by many.
