With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter J. Powers Jr. (Tinley Park, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 12, 2019 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Mary. He is survived by: his wife Lana; his children, Cindy Powers, Dennis Powers (Cheryl), Walter Powers (Nancy) and Michael Powers (Laura); his stepchildren, Kelli Cody (Michael) and Brian Gabriel (Stephanie); and his brother Thomas Powers (Jill). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Interment to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois. *In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Loyola Medicine's Hospice Care.
