He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marie Sanders; his daughter Lisa O'Gara (John); his grandchildren, Patrick and Maggie O'Gara; his mother Lucy Pickering; his brother Michael Bruce; his niece Amber Bruce; and his aunts and uncles, Pat Malik, Susan Hickman and Rita Nay.
Masks and social distancing is required.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to be made towards the ALS Association of Chicago, in memory of his wife Marie.
