She was predeceased by: her grandson Matthew; and her brothers, Anthony Bittner, Al Bytnar and John Bytnar. She is survived by: her husband Frank J. Prokop Jr.; her children, Don (Gail), Mike (Peggy), Sandy, Rich (Sharon) and Debbie McKay (Ken); her grandchildren, Christopher (Erica), Wesley (Cassie), Andrew (Alyssa), Connor (Lauren), Joshua, Richie Jr. (Nycol), Kelsey, Nicholas, Justin, Bradley and Jenna; her great grandchildren, Owen, Brooks, Callyn and Lillian; and her sister Jeannie Guzick (Tim). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM. A Mass was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St. Damian Church (5250 W 155th St, Markham, IL 60452).
