She is survived by: her former husband John Mitchell; her children, Essence LaTanya and Rahsaan Ari; her nephew Demarus Rogers; her niece Kimeon; her mother Naomi; her stepfather Cleophus Sanders (Bill); her husband William; her son Todd; her granddaughters, Nia and Willow; her siblings, Karen, Linda (Raheem), Carlos (Tanya), Carla, Aurora, Elizabeth, Ernestina, Raquel and Rasheedah; her stepmother Aurora; and her sisters-in-law, Renee (Clifton) and Cheryl. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
