He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara; his children, Helen and John Lekavich; his siblings, John A. Lekavich, Bernadette Panovich and Antoinette Sibrava (Joe); his stepchildren, Angela Hipelius (John) and Scott Kiehl (Susanne); his stepgrandfather Ron; and his sister-in-law Susan Lindhoff (Andrew).

In lieu of flowers, the Lekavich Family will be accepting donations to be forwarded to The Anthony Rizzo Family Cancer Foundation and Guitars for Vets.
