He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Beata; his children, William (Melissa), Catherine Kuczmierczyk (Paul) and Matthew Skrobutt; his grandsons, Joseph and Michael; and his sibling Waynette Zurline (Dale).

Due to Phase 4 of the State of Illinois COVID-19 guidelines visitation is limited to 50 people at all times.
