He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Anna; his children, Michael Jurik (Ann), Emma Schmidt (late Kenneth) and Heather Preston (Ian); his sister Joanne Day; his grandchildren, Megan Schmidt, Ryan, Riona, Dylan and Amelia; his nephews, James (Linda), Jeffrey and Jonathan; and his cousin LouAnn.
