He was predeceased by: his sibling Steven Vanderplow. He is survived by: his spouse Carol; his children, Lisa Fox (Scott), Sheri McGrath (Thomas) and Sara Smajo (Michael); his grandchildren, Amanda, Katie, Bryan, Nicholas, Matthew and Madison; and his siblings, Sharon Voltarel and Roy Vanderplow (Janet). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
