She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. William Jensen and Erminie "Jeanne" Jensen; her mother-in-law Dorothy Bruinius; and her sister Mary Jensen. She is survived by: her brother-in-law Craig Boonstra; her nephew William Wondergem; her husband Bernard W. Bruinius, Jr.; her children, Mary Taylor (Mark), Kimberly Kooyenga (Daniel), Jennifer Danyus (Ryan) and Jacob Bruinius; her father-in-law Bernard "Butch" Bruinius (Barb); her grandchildren, Kathryn, Kory, John-Conner, Alexander, Lorissa, Abrielle, Evalyn and Makayla; her siblings, Douglas Jensen (Carol), Marcia Meyers (Richard), Richard Jensen (Karen) and Kristen Wondergem; her stepsiblings, Bud, Andy and Cindy; and her siblings-in-law, Glenn Bruinius (Valerie), Terri Boonstra and Dawn Gibson (Scott). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
