He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Deborah, John and Robert; his daughter-in-law Michele; his grandsons, Daniel and Alex; his great grandchildren, Eleanor Rakoski and Benjamin Jeslis; his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Balzhiser and Richard Meyer; his nieces, April Balzhiser and Tracy Simons (Meyer); and his nephew Richard Stadt. He is also survived by extended family members; and innumerable friends.
