He was predeceased by: his spouse Marian R. Maher. He is survived by: his children, John N. Maher, Phillip A. Maher, Julia Dombrowski (Kevin), Grace Dombrowski and Nolan Dombrowski; and his siblings, Gerald Maher (Nancy) and Robert J. Maher (Susan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
